Chase's first day of preschool

My little boy is sure growing up fast. I wasn't sure what to expect from him on his first day. We have been waiting for this day to come for quite sometime. Last year almost everyday, whenever Taylor would leave for school, Chase would ask me when he would he get to go to school. Well, Tuesday was his official big day. And he did great! We got there, I parked the car, and walked him in, he dropped off his backpack, and then he let go of my hand and walked to the carpet where the kids were sitting. I thought "that's it??" I started to walk out the door and couldn't help myself, I stopped to look back a couple of times, but he didn't look back once. I totally teared up leaving. Maybe it's the pregnancy, maybe it's the fact that I now have 2 KIDS in school, or maybe it's the fact that I feel like time is slipping through my hands. I couldn't have been more proud of him. He is such a character and his sweet little smile is to die for. My life just wouldn't be what it is without my Chasey. We are all totally in love with him.

Here he is right before he left for school. Tay was already at school, and I tried to get one of him and Talan together, but Talan wasn't having it. I guess I should be glad I got this. Doesn't he look great?!

And here he is after I picked him up. When I picked him up, his smile couldn't have been bigger. My window was rolled down when they send him out, and when he saw me he came running smiling and screaming "mommy! mommy!" He was so happy. It melted my heart. It was such a perfect mom moment. This morning he told me "It's not fair, Tay gets to go to school everyday. Why don't I?" Soon enough Chasers...Oh, how I love this kid.
