A Christmas request

So, I had a request for some Christmas pictures, and so...Brittany your wish is my command. Actually, this post has been on my to do list for at least two weeks now. Regardless, here it is, the short and sweet version, cause I think I hear a certain someone getting up from his nap.
We had a great time this year. On Christmas Eve, we hung around the house, made Christmas cookies, and counted down the hours (I don't know how many times I was asked) when Santa was coming. Here's a couple fun pics.
This is Chase making cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. He went downstairs on his own and got and put on Taylor's hat and apron on. He was REALLY into it. He is such a perfectionist. I wonder where he gets that from???

The kids were all so excited and fun to watch. Cute little Taylor though, was way more into what everyone else was getting then into her own. At one point, I looked over at Cort and noticed that he had huge tears in his eyes, we were both very touched at how she seemed to be more focused on everyone else than herself. No big surprise though, cause that's our Taylor! Always thinking of others. Here she is helping Talan open up his gifts and another one of her with Chase and his skateboard and then lastly one of her and the boys helping daddy open his.

However, Taylor was super excited about her Nintendo DS that Santa left, as you can see below. She also loved her new games for it too, they were a huge hit, as was Chase's Leapster. Thanks again Grandpa and Grandma!

After we did the Santa thing at our house we got ready and headed over to my dad's for a Christmas breakfast and more presents. Chase insisted on wearing his new spiderman pjs for the day and so we let him. Seriously, I think he has woren them almost every night since. He was also VERY excited about his new baseball shooting machine, in case you couldn't tell.

Sweet little Talan was also excited to have something new to push around at Grandpa's. Technically, it's not the popper he fell in love with a couple weeks ago, instead of it popping, it plays music when you push it. I say close enough! Talan didn't seem to mind too much either. It was literally love at first sight. He pushs that thing just about everywhere he goes.

On Christmas Eve that night, we also watched Joy to the World and I think that set a nice tone for us to remember the real reason why we celebrate CHRISTmas. How grateful I am for our Savior Jesus Christ, his teachings, and example. Hope everyone's Christmas was amazing, full of surprises, and lots of fun.
We love you all.

How cute! WOW! Your kids are getting so big so fast. Where does it go? Maybe I'll get to see them when Whitney has her baby. (I keep hinting I want to come see her.)

Glad your Christmas was so fun. Kids make the whole day don't they? We too are so thankful for everything we have been given.

Keep up the great posts!

I finally had time to sit down and look at and read about your Christmas. Chase looks so cute in the hat and apron I bet Santa loved those cookies. Taylor is such a loving sweet big sis, what a sweetheart, she's special! Tally looks like he's overwhelmed but having fun with his popper toy. He seems like such a mellow fellow. Maybe next year we can all be together. Love to all!
