We had a VERY busy and FUN Easter week/weekend. The kids were soo excited for the Easter bunny to come. Taylor asked almost everyday this past week about it. On Wednesday night we had our family home evening talking about why we really celebrate Easter and they really got into that. Then on Saturday morning we had our neighborhood easter egg hunt at a park nearby, it was a blast. As soon as we got there Chase took off to go get some eggs, I had to chase after him and explain that we had to wait for everyone else. It was quite cold, so a lot of the kids went home right after they collected their eggs, but there were of course some "die hards" that stayed to play at the park, us included. Then later that day we went to Grandpa Bryce's for our family easter egg hunt. I guess the Easter bunny went a bit overboard cause the adults ended up picking up the left over candy that the kids didn't want. They were all just too busy checking out their goodies. Then on Easter Sunday, the kids got into their new easter outfits and we all went to church. Then it was back over to Grandpa's for a very nice Easter dinner. Cooked by yours truly, with a little help from Cort...well OK a lot of help. (He's the best!) Then we all watched the BEE movie, which the adults made it through. The kids all slowly made their way down to the playroom. Grandpa and Grandma Welker also sent the kids a giftcard for the kids to go get some books at Barnes and Noble. Thanks again, Grandpa and Grandma! The kids are excited to go pick some stuff out. We had a wonderful Easter. Just being together. What a wonderful time of year this is. The weather is starting to get nicer, which is reason enough to smile. I feel so blessed to have what I have and to know what I know. Life is good, no doubt about it!

Cute pictures! I love the one of Chase running! I need to get better at catching real moments like that...and to not do so many posing pictures, ya know? And where did you get your boys vests? I loved them! Your kids are always so stylin! I used to look forward to every sunday in nursery, just to see what Taylor would show up wearing each week! Well, I'm glad you guys had a good easter, it sounded like a lot of fun! :)
oohhh...and the recipes I get from my sister. She is the most amazing cook and is always trying new things or re-creating our favorite dishes at restaraunts. She has made her own cookbook with countless yummy recipes, so stay tuned! :)
Oohh...and last thing...I drove by you and Audrey running tonight...good job! I lost my desire this week, so thanks for getting me inspired again to do my exercising! You are so awesome!

The lil sweater vests on the boys are too cute. Sounds like a great Easter weekend with family, my nephews are getting old now so an Easter scavenger hunt was required to keep their attention... Glad you are liking the Steph Myers books...They are SUPER addicting the movie comes out soon too!
YOU DON'T WATCH THE OFFICE??? Girl, we got to get you all caught up before this next season starts! It's way too funny not to watch! :) I have easy access to all the seasons, so you just let me know if you want to pull a few all nighters and watch them! At least you're now finally reading the Twilight books...that says there's hope! :) oohh...and I think that there might be an Office party in the works, so get watchin because we want you there! And I agree with what you said...I have always wanted to get to know you better and am now grateful for the chance! :)

OK, I love that you celebrate St. Patrick's day! You don't meet too many people that do anymore, but we sure love it. And Mikaela was looking at your easter post to me and she just couldn't stop talking about "that girls' beautiful dress" (referring to Taylor)--- they have similar tastes :)
